My parents aren't exactly thrilled with the idea. They think I'm still too young to be moving so far away from home. Though to be honest, they've always been the traditional type. If they had their way, I wouldn't leave home until I was married (ha!). I had to work pretty hard to convince them I'd be okay.
To be honest, I am a little worried. I don't really have anything in the way of savings. Though I've heard that while the town I'm moving to is fairly small, it's an easy place for someone to get a foothold. I hope it's true, because I've spent every bell I have on the train ticket!
Despite my worries, I just can't help but be excited. A new place, new people, and yes, even new responsibilities. There's just so much to look forward to!
The 9th really just can't come fast enough.
